My old Fletcher was a perfect boat for our needs but was showing signs of it's age so i saved up £3000 to re engine and re trailer her. We couldn't have a bigger boat as we launch on soft sand with a little Vitara and anything bigger is just too much hassle.
However the week i was about to start the refit the new Fletcher arrived on Ebay with a start bid of £3600. I emailed the guy and told him if all else fails £3000, take it or leave it! He bit, we had a deal at £3000!
She's a 1996 Arrowflash 15 with a similar Vintage Mercury 75hp outboard.
The seating is a bit more versatile that the old back to back in the older fletchers and with an extra few inches in the beam should hold more BBQ gear and water toys for the family!!!
Here below are a few pics of us on the 21st of Feb, the day after i collected her, testing with snow on the Mountains as a backdrop!
The boat performed well, skiing nicely and handling very well.
There are a few tidying jobs to be done before the season (Aren't there always!) but that's half the fun i suppose.
So i've Mothballed the old boat for now whilst i save up AGAIN to re engine her.... Or maybe Ebay calls???
Here's a cold proud new owner hugging his new purchase!
