Bombard, one of the world's best recognised recreational RIB and inflatable tender manufacturers, has introduced a 'limited edition' entry-level RIB to its 2010 model line-up.
The new RIBSTER 500 has been designed to appeal to those looking to get into boating for the first time without spending too much money. Based on Bombard's popular Explorer DB 500, with its deep-V hull, spacious cockpit and (relatively) generous storage, the introduction of this 'limited edition' RIB to the UK marketplace follows a successful 2009 season in France, where it proved a popular choice for first time boaters against the existing used RIB market.
As a complete starter RIB package, it includes a fully fitted interior, including Bombard's Optima 800 console, double seat, 50hp engine and trailer. It also features a non-skid moulded deck, buoyancy tubes made of Strongan Duotex PVC fabric and a robust fender with an extra-wide profile rubbing strake. Priced at just £5,970, it looks like an ideal option for those new to boating and a very tempting alternative to a second-hand craft.
